font size

Chinese Vice Premier Zeng Peiyan on Monday expressed the hope that Alcoa, the world's largest aluminum producer, would cooperate with Chinese companies.

Zeng told Alcoa's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Alain Belda that Alcoa would produce more high value-added and technology-intensive aluminum products in China.

He also asked Alcoa to develop more quality products with a low consumption of energy and to improve the use of recycled aluminum products in the country.
