The Thai government has sent 100, 000 US dollars financial relief to help the Philippine government in its disaster response efforts to a massive landslide in its south-central region last week, Thai Foreign Minister Kantathi Suphamongkhon said Monday.

In addition, Thailand is considering what more it can do to help the Philippines, Kantathi was quoted by the Thai news Agency as saying.

Messages of condolence were sent by Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra to the Philippine President over the heavy casualties and property losses caused by the landslide, said the foreign minister.
