Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan met with visiting Japanese Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Toshihiro Nikai in Beijing Wednesday afternoon.

The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and the East China Sea issue.

Chinese Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai also attended the meeting.
