font size

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing held talks with visiting Micronesian counterpart Sebastian Anefal on Thursday in Beijing.

The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on bilateral ties and other international and regional issues of common concern.

Li spoke highly of the bilateral relations, saying it is in both parties' interest to strengthen their diplomatic relationship.

China is ready to join hands with Micronesia in order to take bilateral ties to new heights, Li said.

Anefal reaffirmed his willingness to promote bilateral relations.

He said that Micronesia will continue to unswervingly follow the one-China policy and never have any official contacts with the Taiwan authority.

Sebastian Anefal arrived here on Wednesday for a seven-day visit to China.
