Italian police has stopped a car suspicious of bomb near the Main Media Center for the Turin Winter Olympics Thursday afternoon.

The car was stopped along the Via Nizza, and the traffic has been blocked for more than one hour, with bomb-defusers and firefighters being called upon.

The competition venue of the short track speed skating is located to the left of the street, with the speed skating rink to its right.

A policeman disclosed that the car was stopped for suspicious of a bomb inside.

In the midnight of Wednesday evening, shuttle buses for the media had been stopped for about 60 minutes after one driver encountered a minor error from his engine, and called upon police for suspicion of a bomb.
