The Chinese mainland sincerely expressed hope Friday that non-governmental tourism organizations across the Taiwan Straits would hold consultations and make arrangements for the mainland citizens to visit Taiwan as soon as possible.

Dai Xiaofeng, an official with the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council made the remarks at a regular press conference on Friday, adding that the Chinese mainland will soon issue regulations governing mainland tourists to Taiwan.
