font size

The United Nations Association of China (UNA-China) Vice President Pang Sen said Friday in Beijing that the UNA-China will continue to strengthen UN studies and actively conduct external exchanges and cooperation.

Pang made the remarks at the third meeting of the UNA-China third council. Over 100 council members including diplomats, scholars and businessmen attended the meeting.

Pang reviewed in a working report the efforts made by the UNA-China on disseminating knowledge about the United Nations, participating in activities of non-governmental organizations (NGO) and strengthening UN studies, and the achievements it has made in the past two years.

He said the UNA-China has just started formally studying the United Nations and NGOs. The UNA-China will make further efforts in this regard to make a greater contribution to China's economic, democratic and legal development.
