Six dead in coal mine accident in C. China province
A rescue worker fastens his belt before taking the rescue operation at Dayuan Coal Mine in Longhui County of Shaoyang City, central China's Hunan Province, on Feb. 26, 2006. A gas emission accident occurred around 17:00 on Feb. 25 when 24 miners were working at the mine, leaving six coal miners dead and 12 others missing. Six miners were rescued and the bodies of the dead have been found, according to the provincial authorities.
