Macauhub, a website to provide economic information concerning China and the Portuguese-spoken world, opened on Monday.
A press release issued by the Information Bureau said the launching of the website is aimed to promote business ties and mutual understanding between China and the Portuguese-spoken nations.
The site, with the domain of www.macauhub.com.mo, is to offer free economic information in languages of simplified Chinese, Portuguese and English.
The contents will cover investment opportunities, statistical data, events on the Chinese mainland, the Pan-Pearl River Delta region in particular, Macao and the Portuguese-spoken countries.
Macao has been playing an active role as a platform for cooperation between China and the Portuguese-spoken nations since its return to the motherland in 1999.
The website is run by a local enterprise of Macaulink News and Information Services, under the watch of the Information Bureau.
