The 20th session of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress (NPC) closed in Beijing Tuesday after concluding all procedures as scheduled.
The Chinese lawmakers ratified the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism, aiming to restrict terrorist funding, and adopted the amendment to Audit Law.
Presided over by Wu Bangguo, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, the session accepted the appointment of seven members of the Basic Law Committee of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macao Special Administrative Region.
The work report of the Standing Committee was also passed at the session.
