A seminar was held in Beijing Tuesday to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Dong Biwu's birth, an initiator of Communist Party of China (CPC).
Dong, who was one of the founders of the CPC as well as the People's Republic of China, served as member of Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, former president of the People's Supreme Court and former vice-president of China.
Cao Jianming, vice-president of the Supreme Court, said at the seminar that Dong Biwu was an active advocator of socialist legal system.
A selection of Dong's poems manuscript and Dong's biography were also published on Tuesday.
