2005 Chinese Female Life Quality Report, the first all-around, multi-angle report reflecting Chinese women's life status, was published in Beijing yesterday. The report fills in the gap in the inadequate research and evaluation on Chinese women's life quality.
With working women as the major target, the survey was conduced in eight large and medium sized cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Changsha, Chengdu, Nanning, Harbin and Xi'an.
The survey involves women's working condition, physical and psychological health condition, social security, marital status, leisure life, living environment, social activity, consumption, sense of happiness and other elements for living high quality life.
The report establishes a criterion in assessing women's life quality in modern China and it also explores ways to improve women's life status by covering every aspect including physical, mental, psychological, social and family life conditions.
