China calls for commercial credibility
font size

More than 29 million people have been mobilized in the past ten years, ferreting out fake goods worth 74 billion yuan (9.25 billion U.S. dollars), according to a forum on anti-fake goods held in Nanjing, capital of east Chinas Jiangsu Province, Wednesday.

In the campaign on anti-fake goods launched 10 years ago, 350,000 consultation services have been provided, according to the forum.

Liu Yunshan, head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, sent a letter to the forum, congratulating on the tenth anniversary of the nationwide anti-fake campaign.

Liu, speaking highly of the great achievements against the counterfeit, said in the letter that the commercial credibility should be enhanced so as to better safeguard the interests of the consumers.
