To date China has cumulatively promoted 925 famous domestic brands, indicated Pu Changcheng, deputy director of China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, at today's working conference on the tenth anniversary of the nationwide "10,000 stores without fake commodities in 100 satisfactory cities" campaign.

Pu mentioned that to help enterprises produce more famous products with superior quality and guide consumers to compare, distinguish and select the best products and services, quality supervision units throughout China have vigorously promoted an activity known as "boost the market with quality" and utilized the functions of the market mechanism to sweep off counterfeits and low-quality products from the market. More than 900 cities and counties in China have launched the above campaign and promoted 925 famous Chinese brands by now.

It is also learnt that quality supervision units are actively carrying forward China's inspection exemption policy in recent years. Nowadays 2,152 firms of 105 categories in China are qualified to enjoy national inspection exemption.
