China's special envoy to attend Chilean President-elect inauguration ceremony

Chinese Minister of Agriculture Du Qinglin, as a special envoy of the Chinese government, will attend the inauguration ceremony of President-elect Michele Bachelet of Chile scheduled for March 11 at the invitation of the Chilean government.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang made the announcement Thursday at the regular press conference.
