Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang gave a group of secondary school students a tour of the garden of Government House on Saturday.
The Chief Executive and the students admired the blossoming azaleas and other springtime flowers, according to a government press release on Saturday.
Tsang told the students the history and characteristics of Government House which has been declared an historical monument.
"I am very happy to have the opportunity to enjoy the blossoming flowers with the youngsters and to learn from them more about their daily lives and the problems they encounter in their studies," Tsang said.
The students came from 10 schools in the New Territories.
The public will also have a chance to stroll through the Government House garden and admire the flowers on Sunday.
