Brazilian vice president to visit China

Vice President of the Federative Republic of Brazil Jose Alencar will pay an official visit to China from March 19 to24 at the invitation of Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang made the announcement Tuesday at a press briefing.

During Alencar's visit, Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi will co-chair with Alencar the first session of the China-Brazil High-level Committee on Consultation and Cooperation to be held in Beijing.
