Four Iraqis killed in two bomb blasts
font size

Four Iraqi civilians were killed and 19 others wounded in two separate bomb attacks on Wednesday in Baquba, 65 km northeast of Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source told Xinhua.

"A suicide bomber on a bike packed with explosives apparently missed his target of a police patrol and blew himself up among civilians, killing two civilians and wounding eight others," the source said on condition of anonymity.

In a separate incident, a roadside bomb detonated in central Baquba near a photo shop, killing two civilians and wounding 11 others, the source said.

Insurgents often attack U.S. and Iraqi security forces in busy areas, highways and main roads in Baghdad and other Iraqi cities, often causing casualties among civilians.
