font size

Talks on a proposed gas pipeline project between Iran, Pakistan and India ended in Tehran Thursday, according to Pakistan's official APP news agency.

Matters relating to price of gas and the framework of the project to provide gas pipeline to India via Pakistan were discussed.

Pakistani and Indian officials said they needed time for consultations on Iranian proposal regarding the price of gas.

The Iranian side said that it would require extra six or seven months to seek a vote in the Iranian parliament and other formalities.

The participants agreed to hold next round of negotiations in Islamabad on April 30.
