font size

China and the Republic of Korea (ROK) agreed in Beijing Friday to enhance cooperation between the law enforcement departments.

"China hopes to enhance exchanges and cooperation with the ROK on cracking down on cross-border crimes, exit and entry management and security to large-scale activities," said Chinese State Councilor Zhou Yongkang during his talks with Chun Jung-bae, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Korea.

Chun said his department is ready to step up cooperation with China's Ministry of Security on the above areas.

The two signed a summary after hour-long talks.

Chun arrived in Beijing Thursday as guest of the Chinese Ministry of Public Security.
