font size

A senior official has underlined the importance of creative power to further improve China's ability to innovate and become more creative in scientific research and development.

Chinese State Councilor Chen Zhili made the remarks at a meeting held to mark the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Science and Technology Daily.

In a state mid-term and long-term scientific and technological development program publicized in early February, it called for China to embark on the road of promoting economic growth and social progress via development of advanced science and technology by the year 2020.
