Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan's Nepal visit successful: Nepali officials

Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan's Nepal visit was very successful and added a new chapter in China-Nepal relations, Kirti Nidi Bista, vice-chairman of the Council of Ministers of Nepal, said in Kathmandu Friday.

"His visit helped us to increase mutual understanding and the continuation of this kind of visit exchanges will benefit both sides," Kirti Nidi Bista told reporters at Tribhuvan International Airport after Tang's departure.

"This visit was very successful and the Nepali government is satisfied with this visit," Nepali Foreign Minister Ramesh Nath Pandey said at the function.

Tang's visit has proved that China-Nepal relations are all- weather relations, Pandey added.

Chinese State Councilor Tang concluded his three-day official visit to Nepal and left here Saturday morning.

Tang arrived here Thursday at the invitation of Bista.
