Vice President of the Federative Republic of Brazil Jose Alencar arrived here Sunday morning, kicking off his five-day official visit to China.

Alencar's China visit is at the invitation of Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong. During his stay in Beijing, Vice Premier Wu Yi will co-chair with him the first session of the China-Brazil High-level Committee on Consultation and Cooperation.
