Senior Chinese leader leaves on visits to Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia

Senior Chinese leader Jia Qinglin left Beijing Monday morning on official goodwill visits to Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Jia, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), will pay the visits at the invitation of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly of Indonesia Hidayat Nur Wahid, and President of the Dewan Negara (Senate) of Malaysia Abdul Hamid Pawanteh.
