China donates police equipment to Bangladesh

China donated some equipment for police to Bangladesh in Dhaka Wednesday as part of cooperation between Home Affairs Ministry of Bangladesh and Public Security Ministry of China.

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Chai Xi and Bangladeshi Home Affairs Secretary Raj Hossain signed on the handing-over certificate on behalf of their respective governments.

The police equipment includes 300 pieces of anti-bullet vests, 300 pieces of anti-riot shields, 300 pieces of anti-riot police batons, 300 pieces of electronic police batons, 300 pieces of anti- riot helmets and so on.

Wang Zhenyin, military attache of the Chinese embassy, and some officials of the Bangladeshi Home Affairs Ministry were present at the handing-over ceremony.
