China's mainland says dumping of imported PBT resin from Japan, Taiwan exists
font size

A preliminary ruling of the Ministry of Commerce states that Japan and Taiwan are selling PBT resin unfairly.

In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said that PBT resin is being dumped on the Chinese mainland market, causing substantial damage to mainland industry.

China's Ministry of Commerce began its anti-dumping investigation against the imported chemical on June 6, 2005.

According to the preliminary ruling, importers of this chemical from Japan and Taiwan should offer deposits to Chinese mainland customs at a rate between 12.78 percent and 17.31 percent starting from Wednesday.
