Brazilian vice president concludes China visit

Brazilian Vice President Jose Alencar left Beijing on Friday evening, concluding his official visit to China.

During his stay in Beijing, Chinese President Hu Jintao, top legislator Wu Bangguo and Vice President Zeng Qinghong held meetings or talks with Alencar.

Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi co-chaired with Alencar the first session of the China-Brazil High-level Committee on Consultation and Cooperation.

At the invitation of Zeng, Alencar arrived in China's financial hub of Shanghai on Sunday to begin his China visit.
