Senior CPC official meets Latin American guests

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met Monday with Jose Antonio Cafiero, president of the Permanent Conference of Latin American and Caribbean Political Parties.

Wang expressed his appreciation to the organization for its contribution to the friendship between China and Latin America, saying that China is ready to enhance cooperation with the Permanent Conference of Latin American and Caribbean Political Parties for closer ties with the Latin American countries.

Cafiero said his organization is very interested in China's economic and social development and is ready to enhance cooperation with the CPC to jointly promote the healthy and stable development of the relations between the Latin American countries and China.
