Macao sees stable jobless rate from December to February

Macao saw a 4.1-percent unemployment rate from December to February, almost flat on the period from November to January, according to official statistics issued on Tuesday.

The figures from the Statistics and Census Service showed that the number of jobless residents seeking their first job was around 900, or 8.4 percent of the total unemployed population.

Macao's total labor force was estimated at 263,000 in the period between December and February, the figures showed.

The special administrative region has a population of above 480, 000.
