Wang Zhongyu, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's top advisory body, met on Thursday with A. M. Fatwa, vice-chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly of Indonesia.
China and Indonesia have witnessed rapid and sound development of bilateral relations and a frequent exchange of high-level visits in recent years, said Wang.
The two countries have also enhanced their mutually beneficial cooperation and carried out coordination on multilateral occasions, added Wang.
Fatwa visits China at the invitation of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.
