Visiting Polish Foreign Minister Stefan Meller said Thursday that Poland needs to further enhance political dialogues with China, which is conducive to mutual understanding of the two sides.

Both Poland and China should increase practical contents to the strategic relations between China and the European Union, and Poland is ready to go on expanding bilateral reciprocal cooperation with China based on equality and mutual benefit, he said.

Meller also spoke highly of China's role in some major international and regional issues, saying that China shows a responsible image in such issues as the solution of the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula, the alleviation of the tension between India and Pakistan as well as the UN reform.
