Words of Italian leader should benefit China-Italy ties, says FM spokesman

Relevant remarks of an Italian leader should be beneficial to the stability and development of the China-Italy friendly relations, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said Thursday.

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi made the remarks recently that China used to boil babies for fertilize.

"We are dissatisfied with this groundless remarks," Qin told a regular press conference when asked to make comments on this issue.
