Nepal will host China Education Exhibition in Kathmandu on April 16-17, one of the organizers said Friday in Kathmandu.
"A total of 25 best Chinese universities will have their stalls in the fair," Lava Kumar Thapa, president of Araniko Society, a non-government Nepal-China friendship organization, said in a press conference.
The fair is jointly organized, for the fourth time in Nepal, by Chinese Scholarship Council, Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu and Araniko Society.
The fair, organized annually, aims to facilitate the Chinese education institution and prospective students in Nepal to get first hand information about the Chinese education system and universities, Thapa noted.
Many Nepali students are attracted by Chinese universities, Thapa noted, adding, "The fair will be helpful to those students who are preparing to go to China for study."
The last three fairs were very successful, he said.
According to Thapa, more than 3,000 Nepali students are currently studying in different universities of China.
