Indonesia reports 30 percent rise in tax revenueThe Indonesian government has reported a 30-percent rise in tax revenues in the first quarter of the year, a local newspaper reported Saturday. Tax revenues totaled 82 trillion rupiah (around 9 billion U.S. dollars) in the first quarter of 2005 against 63 trillion rupiah ( 6.9 billion dollars) in the same period last year, reported Kompas. The government has set full year tax revenue target at 362 trillion rupiah (39.8 billion dollars).
