Chinese Supreme Court President Xiao Yang Saturday concluded a four-day working visit to Germany, during which he had a meeting with German President Horst Koehler.

Koehler said that he welcomed Xiao and his group's visit to Germany when he met him in Baden-Wuerttemberg on Thursday.

The German president said China was a dynamic country and had achieved surprisingly-fast economic growth.

Koehler added that Germany and China were mutually trusted and should not only strengthen ties in economy, science, technology and culture, but should also boost exchanges and cooperation in law and judiciary sectors.

Xiao expressed his appreciation for Koehler's important contribution to the development of Sino-German relations.

During his visit, Xiao also met and held working meetings with President of Germany's Federal Constitutional Court Hans-Juergen Papier and other high-ranking officials of the German judiciary sector.
