Four U.S. soldiers have been killed in separate incidents across Iraq, the U.S. military said on Sunday.

"Two soldiers were killed by a roadside bomb at approximately 9 p.m. (1700 GMT) on April 1 in central Baghdad," the military said in a statement.

A third soldier, assigned to the 101st Airborne Division's Task Force Band of Brothers, died from "non-battle related injuries" received during an operation near the Iraqi oil-rich city of Kirkuk on Thursday, the military said in an earlier statement.

It said a fourth U.S. marine, assigned to the second brigade combat team in the volatile province of Anbar, died from wounds sustained in combat operation on Friday.

The names of the killed soldiers are being withheld pending notification of next of kin, the statements said.

The latest four deaths brought to about 2,330 the number of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003, according to figures released by U.S. Department of Defense.
