Large auto exhibition to debut in E. China cityXiamen, a port city in east China's Fujian Province, is to hold its first automobile exhibition from June 2 to 5 in an effort to boost its auto market potential. Acitivities for the four-day exhibition will include display of fashionable cars and vintage cars, and sports car racing. A number of international and domestic automobile brands have applied for the event, including General Motors, Ford, Benz, Audi, Toyota and China's Citron, King Long and Cherry. Luxury automobile manufacturers such as Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Ferrari and Porsche have also booked booths. Xiamen now ranks the sixth among Chinese cities which enjoy great potential in car purchasing.
