Chinese Vice Premier Hui Liangyu met here Monday with visiting Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

Hui appreciates Sirindhorn's contribution in promoting the understanding and friendship between the two peoples. He said Thailand is China's good neighbour, friend and partner. The bilateral relations will be further developed with common efforts from both sides under the support of the leaders of the two countries.

Sirindhorn said she is delighted to see the big changes taking place in China every time she visits China. She will go to southern and eastern part of China in order to know more about China's development.

Sirindhorn is at the invitation of the Chinese government for an eleven-day visit from April 3 to 13. She leaves Beijing to travel to east China's Zhejiang and Fujian provinces, and then to Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Guangdong Province in south China.
