Vietnam Communist Party launches website's Chinese version

The Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee on Monday launched the Chinese version of its website, meeting demands of Chinese people and those using the language in the world for getting to know Vietnam.

The version will be updated with information about Vietnam's economy, politics, culture, society, security and defense, international events, and the friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and China, said vice chairman of the Central Commission on Ideological and Cultural Affairs of Vietnam, Dao Duy Quat.

It, with full data on the CPV, the state and late president Ho Chi Minh, will also introduce the country and its people, he added.

Addressing at the launching ceremony, Chinese ambassador to Vietnam, Hu Qianwen, said he welcomes the opening of the Chinese version which shows that the CPV attaches importance to introducing the country to Chinese people as well as developing the friendly relations and comprehensive cooperation with China's party and government.

He also believed that the version will bring into full play its positive effects in strengthening mutual understanding and trust between the two countries, becoming an important bridge for the bilateral friendly cooperation.

The CPVCC's website launched in 2001 now includes three versions: Vietnamese, English and Chinese.
