Chinese FM meets Australian FM

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing met with his Australian counterpart Alexender Downer in Canberra Monday .

The two sides agreed to enhance consultation and cooperation between the two foreign ministries for the implementation of the consensus reached by the state leaders of the two countries for building up the China-Australia all-round cooperative ties featuring mutual benefits and win-win outcome.

The two foreign ministers also exchanged views on global and regional situation.

Li is here to accompany Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao on an official visit to Australia.
