Chinese defense minister starts visit to DPRK

Chinese Defense Minister Cao Gangchuan arrived in Pyongyang Tuesday, starting his three-day official visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

Cao, who is also the vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of China, is paying the visit at the invitation of Kim Il-chol, Minister of People's Armed Forces of DPRK, who greeted Cao at square of Monument to Victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
