The Nepali government has initiated processes for making 12,000 temporary school teachers of the kingdom permanent, Radio Nepal reported Tuesday.
Preparations for providing permanent status to some 12,000 temporary teachers has reached the final stage, Assistant Minister for Education and Sports Bhuvan Pathak was quoted by the radio as saying.
The works on amending the bylaws necessary for making the teachers permanent have already begun, and it will be completed soon, he told reporters.
The results of the examinations held for permanent fulfillment of teachers in the past have been already announced, and the selected teachers will be given permanent appointment within the current fiscal year, he said.
The Ministry has also begun works on announcing the stalled results of the teachers' examinations held in the past, he added.
