Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn left Beijing Wednesday morning for Hangzhou, the capital city of east China's Zhejiang Province.

Sirindhorn will visit scenic spots there and meet with local officials, according to Foreign Ministry.

She will also travel to east China's Fujian Province, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Guangdong Province.

During her stay in Beijing, Sirindhorn met with Chinese Vice Premier Hui Liangyu and attended a series of cultural activities.

This is Sirindhorn's 23rd visit to China since 1981.
