President of the Republic of Yemen Ali Abdullah Saleh left Beijing Friday for Hong Kong, continuing his state visit to China.

During his stay in Beijing, Saleh had held talks with Chinese President Hu Jintao and met with Chinese top legislator Wu Bangguo. They exchanged views on the bilateral relations and regional and international issues of common concern.

Saleh came to China as Hu's guest. This is his third visit to China as Yemeni president.
