HK's foreign currency reserve hits 125.9 billion U.S. dollars

Hong Kong's official foreign currency reserve assets amounted to 125.9 billion U.S. dollars at the end of March, 200 million U.S. dollars less than February, the Monetary Authority said here Friday.

Including unsettled forward contracts, the foreign currency reserve assets of Hong Kong stood at 125.9 billion U.S. dollars.

Hong Kong is the world's seventh largest holder of foreign currency reserves, after the Chinese mainland, Japan, Taiwan, Republic of Korea, Russia and India.
