CPPCC vice-chairman meets Myanmar USDA delegation

Luo Haocai, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met with a delegation from the Union Solidarity and Development Association (USDA) of Myanmar here Friday.

The delegation is led by Nyan Tun Aung, USDA Central Executive Committee member and deputy minister of Transport of Myanmar.

Luo, also vice-president of the Chinese Association For International Understanding (CAFIU), said China actively supports exchanges and cooperation between the CAFIU and USDA.

"Such exchanges and cooperation are an important channel for the understanding and friendship between the people of the two countries and especially their youths," Luo said.

He went on to acknowledge that both sides had a responsibility to continue friendship through the generations.

Luo briefed the guests on China's recent annual sessions of the National People's Congress and the CPPCC as well as the 11the Fifth Five-Year Program, China's blueprint for economic development in the next five years.
