Chinese premier back in Beijing after visiting Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, Cambodia

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao returned to Beijing Saturday evening after official visits to Australia, Fiji, New Zealand and Cambodia from April 1 to 8.

During the tour, Wen attended the opening ceremony of the first China-Pacific Island Countries Economic Development and Cooperation Forum held in Fiji.

He met with leaders of those countries and pledged that China would enhance economic ties with them.
