The number of foreign-funded projects on communication equipment, computers and other electronic equipment in the first two months of 2006 was 341, which accounted for 6.6 percent of the total.

Direct foreign investment actually used in these projects stood at 1,011.75 million U.S. dollars, 11.8 percent of the total.
