Chinese defense minister starts visit to Malaysia

Chinese Defense Minister Cao Gangchuan arrived in Kuala Lumpur Monday, starting his four-day official visit to Malaysia.

Cao, who is also the vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of China, is paying the visit at the invitation of Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Najib Tun Razak.

This is the third-leg of Cao's tour to five Asian countries, which will also bring him to Singapore and the Republic of Korea. Cao has visited the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and Vietnam.
