Senior CPC official meets Cuban guest

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met with Jose Balaguer, member of the Political Bureau of the Cuban Communist Party Central Committee, in Beijing Monday.

The two sides both spoke positively of the development of the relations between the two countries and two parties, vowing to push forward the party relations at various levels under the framework of the exchange and cooperation agreement signed between the Chinese and Cuban communist parties.

Balaguer, who is also Cuban Minister of Public Health, expressed his confidence in the Cuba-China relations and briefed Wang on the latest progress of the bilateral medical and public health cooperation.
